Her leadership extends beyond the clinic, where she has appeared as a guest speaker on Japanese public radio, consulted for mental health and disaster relief agencies, and contributed to international media.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before embarking on her career in clinical psychology, Dr. Hitsumoto gained a broad and varied perspective through her experiences both in Japan and the United States. As a foreign exchange student at a high school in Ohio, she was exposed to American culture early on, which deepened her understanding of cross-cultural dynamics. Later, she worked as a software engineer and marketing manager for large international corporations in Japan.
